As some of you know Greg’s father Gregorio has stage 4 colon cancer. He was diagnosed almost a year ago (this December). In the past year it has spread significantly throughout his body(liver, both lungs) and now to his bones.
Last night he was re admitted to the hospital with severe dehydration and kidney failure. The chemotherapy has caused sores to the inside of his mouth and throat making it unbearable for him to eat and drink. Right now we are considering taking him off the chemo and seeing how to manage his pain for however much longer God will allow him to live. He has signed a DNR as well. This is not an easy time in our family, seeing him this sick is heartbreaking.
Please pray for Greg’s dad Gregorio Andal. For healing, comfort and solutions. Pray for the doctors/nurses who are attending to him to be kind and patient and use wisdom! Please pray for my mother in law Annie who is very worried about her husband. Please pray for Greg, to be strong and hopeful yet surrendered to whatever God chooses. Please pray for me to be the best support I can for my family. And please pray for Greg’s brother, sister and nieces during this time. Thank you!

Prayers Please for our brother Michael Lizarraga and his family .
Michael suddenly lost his mom last Sunday 8/7/16
I am writing to humbly ask you all for prayers. I’m currently signed up to go with the community service brigade to El Salvador in October. Last week, my mom called and told me that on her most recent MRI, they found another brain tumor. She’s been living with one for the past 11 years that sits on her pituitary gland and mostly causes problems by messing with her internal thermostat (she\’s hot ALL of the time), but they’ve been monitoring it because it\’s pressing on her optic nerve, which is how this one was spotted. This new one, like the first, is NOT cancer and not genetic. It is unrelated to the first as far as anyone can tell, and it’s a different kind of tumor. This new one is sitting on her auditory nerve on the right side and has caused her to lose most of her hearing on the right side, something she has just been crediting to aging.
I am going home (Florida) on August 10th to go with her to her appointment to see the specialist on the 12th. He will most likely (90%) recommend surgery, at which point we will schedule it. The timing of her surgery and her expected recovery period will determine when I will actually return to LA, or if I return for a short time and then go back to Florida for her surgery.
In addition to my mom’s issues, my dad has had chronic health problems for the past 15 years (he\’s now mostly wheelchair bound and has doctors’ appointments at least 2-3 days a week). So there will need to be someone with them for the entirety of her recovery until she is fully capable of driving them both around again.
I work 2 different jobs as an independent contractor, meaning I don’t get vacation or sick days, or benefits of any kind. Luckily, my bosses at both jobs are incredibly kind, understanding women who wish me the best and will expect me back when things are resolved and I\’m back in town.
I am not the only one available to take care of my parents, my mother’s father is available for part of the time, and ideally, if it comes to that he and his wife will be able to take over while I go to El Salvador if that timing becomes necessary.
So what I need are prayers for my mom\’s health particularly, but also for my dad’s health and wellbeing, for my own sanity and trust in God, for the timing and financial aspects of everything, for my grandparents and the trip to El Salvador.

My father, Roger DuBrock, is having a tumor removed Thursday, 7/14; please pray that if it’s malignant the cancer can be completely removed, but that whatever the case, Roger will turn to God.
My son Jacob is having a tonsillectomy on July 26. I am really nervous for this procedure. My husband will be off for 3 days of work and I will be off for 2 days during that week. Im praying that we will be ok financially during that time. I am praying for the safety of my son.
Please pray for Mary Jackson’s mother who is in critical condition. She suffered heart failure and kidney failure. These next 24 hours are crucial. Please also pray for Mary who is wih her in Texas and the family
Hey there everyone! Please pray for WILLIAM! He had a mild heart attack yesterday morning! Thank God he has a team of Dr’s & nurses that come to the house! They were concerned with his BP, which when they took it was 210/115 & similar levels several times repeatedly! So based on his indication that he had shortness of breath, and tightness in his chest earlier in the morning, they suggested I take him to ER to be checked out! Later today they found elevated levels of Troponin, an enzyme of the heart! He called me with the news he had a “small heart attack”! Thank God I stayed home from work!
He’s now doing well and is in good spirits at the VA HOSPITAL in west LA! He has done testing and there does not appear to be damage to the heart relative to this attack! They planned to do another Ecocardiagram this morning at 8am and he may come home tomorrow! Continued prayers please!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of you who’ve prayed for my friends Kevin & Tracy. Tragically, they lost the baby. I pray that the greater purpose to all of this will be made known to them, and I ask you to pray that they will turn to God with their broken hearts, rather than away from Him. Thank you again for your prayers and support. It did bring them comfort to know total strangers were praying for them & their baby.
Please pray for my brother Greg – today we found out he has cancer. It seems to be pretty far along. He goes in next Tuesday to find out how spread it is. He also starts Chemo for 6 weeks starting next week. Greg has a special place in my heart. He’s 50 now. Back when he was about 19, he was in a serious car accident and was in the hospital for exactly 364 days. He should have died but we all feel he was given another chance. He was raised religiously, but he hasn’t lived it. Please pray that he is healed, but in the process he finds a real relationship with God. Thanks everyone.
Please pray for my niece inlaw she is pregnant and has previously lost a baby. Please ask God to let them have a viable birth this time, but nevertheless let His will be done.
